“I started HCD because I wanted to build something different.

A place where questions are encouraged and you’re allowed to challenge what you don’t understand.
A place where communication comes first. Always.

Often, riders are told what to do without ever being taught why. I wanted to create a program that breaks that cycle. One built on clarity, trust, and a better understanding of both horse and rider.

I believe communication is the foundation of everything. Before performance, progress, and success. The ability to communicate with your horse is where trust begins, and trust is what creates true partnership.

No two horses are the same. No two riders are the same. Every horse thinks, learns, and responds differently. The same is true for the people next to them. That’s why I believe training should never be one-size-fits-all.

What matters most is learning how to communicate clearly enough that both horse and rider can grow with confidence.

That moment when communication becomes connection, and connection becomes trust, is why I built this program.

Because watching that partnership take shape and succeed is what this has always been about.”
